03/04/2013 (Agence Europe) - Regional Galileo Masters at Nice Sophia Antipolis. The European Satellite Navigation Competition, better known as the Galileo Masters is now taking place for the 11th year in a row. The French region of Nice-Sophia Antipolis is one of the two project selection process entry points on national territory. This competition pits different companies, entrepreneurs, research institutes, universities and individuals against each other from more than 23 regions in Europe and the world. It awards prizes for the most innovative projects in the area of satellite applications in the security, intelligent transport systems (ITS) and mobile telephone fields.
