Brussels, 05/03/2013 (Agence Europe) - Bulgaria has taken its turn to sign the international agreement to create the future European Patent Court, the Council of the EU has announced in a press release. Bulgaria becomes the 25th member state to join the system, with Spain remaining outside due to the language regime selected for the unitary patent and Poland still having to conclude internal discussions on its involvement in the judicial system.
On 19 February of this year, the ministers for competitiveness met in Brussels to officially sign this international agreement, at a dedicated ceremony. (SP/transl.fl)
