Brussels, 28/01/2013 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 25 January 2013, the European Investment Bank granted a loan of €250 million to the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR - Hrvatska banka za obnovu i razvitak) to finance projects by small businesses, mid-caps and municipalities in Croatia.
The EIB cash will be lent on to small business and mid-caps in industry and services, including tourism, and will help with infrastructure projects by the local authorities. The loan will also be used to co-finance projects in growth industries, energy and environmental protection. Some 70% of the loan will be granted to mid-caps and small businesses. (OL/transl.fl)
