The prime minister of Lithuania, Algirdas Butkevicius, has announced that his government will prepare a special programme with a view to joining the eurozone in 2015, explains a report in The Lithuanian Tribune on 24 January. “We are going to enter the euro zone in 2015. Now we are going to prepare a special programme for entering the euro zone,” the prime minister told a news conference in Estonia. (MB/transl.fl)
