Optical fibre - EIB loan to Netherlands

Brussels, 26/10/2012 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 25 October, the European Investment Bank (EIB) agreed to provide €125 million to Reggefiber for expanding the company's optical fibre network to an additional 50 municipalities across the Netherlands. Six commercial banks (ABN AMRO, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, ING, Rabobank and RBS) will also contribute up to €125 million to the operation, leading to a total facility size of €250 million.
