26/10/2012 (Agence Europe) - Eurogroup to meet on Wednesday 31 October. A spokesperson for the head of Eurogroup, Jean-Claude Juncker, said on Friday 26 October that eurozone finance ministers will be meeting on Wednesday 31 October for a videoconference on the second Greek bailout, reports Reuters. Full agreement between Greece and its lenders is therefore imminent, following movements all week on the savings of €13.5 billion required before the next aid instalment of more than €30 billion is paid out (see EUROPE 10718). Greece is expected to be given two extra years to meet its budget commitments, a concession that will cost its lenders between €15 billion and €30 billion. (MB/transl.fl)
