Brussels, 23/10/2012 (Agence Europe) - The Enterprise Europe network has just inaugurated a new branch in India and strengthened its presence in China. This announcement was made on Monday 22 October at the network's annual conference in Cyprus. India is the latest country to join the network, with three new centres that will begin their activities in New Delhi. An office will soon also open in Canada, while five new centres in Shanghai and Nanjing will bring the total in China to 27.
The support network for businesses and innovation, which is financed by the EU and based in almost 600 local organisations in 52 countries, helps companies operate abroad, find business or technology partners and access EU funding. Its presence in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas gives SMEs a foothold in established and emerging world markets. (OL/transl.fl)
