Brussels, 11/07/2012 (Agence Europe) - MEPs from the civil liberties committee (LIBE) at the European Parliament, along with MEPs from the women's rights committee (FEMM), backed the compromise on Tuesday 10 July which was drawn up with the Council on minimum rights to be given to victims of crime in the EU. The MEPs backed this agreement by 79 votes in favour and one against with one abstention.
