Brussels, 26/06/2012 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 26 June, the European Commission gave the go-ahead for the payment of €2.3 billion to Ireland, now that the former has completed a report on adjusting the EU and IMF's aid programme. A further €500 million is expected from individual European countries so, in total, Ireland will have had approximately €35.9 bn since the start of its bailout (in 2010). The EFSF and ESM have contributed €32.8bn of this.
