Fact-finders delayed

Brussels, 25/06/2012 (Agence Europe) - The troika (European Commission, ECB and IMF) fact-finders were initially due to return to the Greek capital on Monday 25 June, but this has been delayed due to the fact that the Greek prime minister, Antonis Samaras, and finance minister, Vasilis Rapanos, who are both under enormous pressure, had to be hospitalised last week. A spokesperson for Euro Commissioner Olli Rehn said on Monday 24 June that the Commission's first concern is for the health of the prime minister and finance minister, adding that the document stating that Greece has recruited 70,000 new civil servants since the time of the first financial bailout (leaked to centre-Left Greek magazine To Vima) did not come from the Commission.
