Iranian oil - EU prepared, but prices rocketing

Brussels, 21/02/2012 (Agence Europe) - Following the decision of Tehran no longer to sell oil to France and the United Kingdom, other member states of the EU have stopped their purchases from Iran. Thanks to its strategic stocks, the EU is able to face disturbances to its supply, with Saudi Arabia helping to plug the gap.

But with the threat brandished by Iran on the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of all oil bought and sold in the world transits, prices are rocketing, bringing risks to...
