Iran threatens to stop oil exports to Europe

Brussels, 27/01/2011 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament will hold an emergency debate on Sunday 29 January 2012 to discuss Iran's plan to stop exporting oil to Europe. The EU is Iran's biggest client (for oil), but it decided on 23 January to freeze oil imports as a way of penalising Iran for its nuclear programme.
