28/09/2011 (Agence Europe) - Herman Van Rompuy receives nine new ambassadors to the EU. On Tuesday 27 September, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy received the new ambassadors to the EU of Israel, Bolivia, Côte d'Ivoire, Canada, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Republics of Belarus, Ghana, Sudan, and Burundi. The ambassadors officially presented their letters of credentials, allowing them to fully assume their roles as ambassadors to the EU. (CG/transl.rt)
