Brussels, 20/07/2011 (Agence Europe) - The EU Council of Ministers, on Tuesday 19 July, adopted without debate the fishing opportunities for anchovy in the Bay of Biscay for the 2011-2012 fishing season. The total allowable catch (TAC) has been set at 29,700 tonnes, with 26,730 tonnes allocated to Spain and 2,970 tonnes to France. Last year, the TAC was 15,000 tonnes.
