20/07/2011 (Agence Europe) - Fall in consumer confidence in July. The consumer confidence indicator for the European Union fell once again in July 2011. It dropped one point from the previous month (-12.5 points compared with -11.5 in June 2011), according to the DG ECFIN flash estimate published on 20 July. A very similar fall was recorded in the euro area (-11.4 points against -10.3 in June) for the same period. (I.L./transl.rt)
