Brussels, 04/07/2011 (Agence Europe) - Council endorsement of the one-year extension to the protocol to the EU-Morocco fisheries agreement is imminent. The Committee of member states' permanent representatives to the European Union (COREPER) gave its backing, on 29 June, to the proposal that current arrangements be extended for one year, to allow time for a new agreement to be negotiated.
