Brussels, 29/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 28 June the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a loan of €45 million with Ingeteam S.A. to support its research, development and innovation (RDI) activities for renewable energy.
The project will help to finance the promoter's investment in research, development and product/process innovation related to electrical equipment for renewable energy generation by means of wind turbine generators, photovoltaic installations, thermo- and hydroelectric plants and biomass incinerators. These are all essential components in equipment used to develop renewable energy and will help towards providing the technology crucial to enabling member states to reach their renewable energy objectives by 2020.
