Brussels, 27/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 27 June, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced that it would lend €800 million for the construction of the following two sections of Polish motorways: 36 km of the A1 motorway between Pyrzowice and Maciejów, close to Katowice; 135 km of the A4 motorway linking Szarów, close to Kraków, and Rzeszów, on the border with Ukraine and 5 km of the S19 to access Rzeszow.
