Brussels, 06/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - With nearly 40% of the vote, the Social Democratic Party of Portugal (PSD), headed by Pedro Lassos Coelho, won the Portuguese general elections of Sunday 5 June, outstripping the outgoing Socialist party headed by José Sócrates (24%).
