06/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - Loan for phosphoric acid plant in Jordan. The European Investment Bank announced on Monday 6 June that it is to provide a US$120 million loan to the Jordan-India Fertilizer Company (JIFCO) to support the development, construction and operation of a phosphoric acid complex with an annual capacity of 500,000 tonnes. The greater part of its production is likely to be sold to the Indian joint venture partner IFFCO for fertiliser production in India. (O.L./transl.rt)
