Brussels, 03/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - After the devastation of the tsunami which hit its north-east coast on 11 March, Japan is calling for the conclusion of a free-trade agreement with the EU. Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht, however, wants the Japanese to do more to reduce non-tariff barriers and restrictions to access to its public markets before opening negotiations.
