Brussels, 07/04/2011 (Agence Europe) - Some people would like to have seen greater freezing or a more significant reduction in the European Parliament budget in 2012, which was adopted on Wednesday 6 April by the European Parliament. It now stands at €1,725 billion. This represents a 2.3% increase on the 2011 budget but it is still below the rate of inflation forecast for the EU, which is expected to be 2.8%.
