Brussels, 18/03/2011 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament (EP) will meet in “mini plenary session” on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 March with an agenda which contains a number of major items, such as preparation of the European Council of 24 and 25 March, resettlement of refugees, data protection, consumer rights and the review of the European neighbourhood policy. The EP will vote on amending the Treaty to provide for the creation of a financial stability mechanism for the euro area. Japan's nuclear crisis will be an item added to the agenda.
