Schengen, France demands Bulgaria make more of an effort

Brussels, 10/03/2011 (Agence Europe) - France has noted the “efforts” made by Bulgaria to join the Schengen area but is calling on the country to step up these efforts. AFP indicated that this announcement had been made by Alain Juppé, the French minister for foreign affairs, after his meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart, Nicolai Mladenov.
