The European Commission has asked Spain to provide details of national measures to implement EU Directive 2009/141/EC on maximum undesirable substance levels in animal feed (substances that are dangerous to human health, animal health or the environment) and has sent a Reasoned Opinion. Spain now has two months to respond and if measures are not taken to comply with the directive, the Commission may decide to take the country to the European Court of Justice. (L.C./transl.fl)
