On Friday 26 November, the European Investment Bank (EIB) granted a loan of €150 million to Magyar Telekom, the incumbent Hungarian operator, to further develop telecommunications infrastructure, both landline and mobile, in Hungary to meet the increasing demand in terms of population coverage and quality of services provided.
