Brussels, 26/11/2010 (Agence Europe) - Biphenyl A (BPA), a potentially dangerous chemical used in the manufacture of plastic and resin, will be banned from babies' bottles and teats in the EU on 1 March 2011, and on 1 June 2011, the sale and import of babies' bottles and teats containing BPA will be banned.
