Brussels, 27/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - The EIB (European Investment Bank) has announced that it plans to finance up to €560 million for energy production and transport projects in order to meet the country's priority needs. The project receives European budgetary support of €20 million. This investment will bring EIB intervention in Egypt this year to €900 million. In July this year, the bank had signed a loan of $460 million for an Egyptian refinery. (F.B./transl.jl)
