15/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - The EIB (European Investment Bank) announced on Thursday 14 October that it planned to grant a €200 million loan for funding of the Madrid-Alicante high-speed rail line. This would be the second part of a loan which, in total, amounts to €900 million. The project consists of the construction of a high-speed line between Madrid and Alicante, with a branch to Murcia.
