Brussels, 14/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - The jury in charge of assessing city candidacies for the title of “European capital of culture” has recommended the cities of Gdansk, Katowice, Lublin, Warszawa and Wroclaw to be pre-selected for the 2016 award. Once this recommendation has been ratified by Poland, the pre-selected cities will have to further develop their candidacies by the summer of 2011.
