24/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - As part of the Open Days, six European regions are holding a seminar in Brussels on 6 October, bringing together European and other regional experts to discuss a macro-regional approach for the Alps. The regions organising the event are: Franche-Comté (France), Tyrol (Austria), Western Slovenia (Slovenia), Trentino (Italy), South Tyrol (Italy) and Lombardia (Italy). Among the speakers are: Michele Pasca-Raymondo, Deputy Director General, DG Regio (European Commission), Herbert Dorfmann MEP (EPP, Italy) and Uno Aldegren PES, Sweden), Member of the Committee of the Regions.
