Approval of budget item setting up European Financial Stabilisation Mechanism

Brussels, 23/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 22 September, the European Parliament adopted the report by László Surján (EPP, Hungary) which endorses the Council position on draft amending budget No 7/2010 of the European Union for financial year 2010, thereby approving the changes needed for the creation of a new budget item 01 04 01 03 to finance the European Financial Stability Mechanism, if necessary.
