16/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - Contrary to what was mistakenly written in our article on the budget (EUROPE 10181), the ceiling for own resources (1.24%) is not set out in the Treaty but arises from a Council decision on the multiannual financial framework which, according to Article 312 of the Lisbon Treaty, is adopted unanimously after consultation with the European Parliament.
