Brussels, 16/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - In his opinion on case C-137/09, delivered on Thursday 15 July, the advocate general took the view that the ban imposed by the mayor of Maastricht on people not resident in the Netherlands going into the town's coffee shops relates to the maintenance of public order and does not fall within the scope of the freedom to provide services guaranteed under EU law.
