Measures required to ensure fair incomes for farmers, MEPs say

Brussels, 30/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 28 June, the European Parliament (EP) agriculture committee adopted, by 32 votes to 4, with 2 abstentions, the report by José Bové (Greens/EFA, France) calling for measures to ensure fair incomes for farmers and make the food supply chain in Europe more efficient. The report is an opinion on the Commission communication of last year, “A Better Functioning Food Supply Chain in Europe”.
