16/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - In an open letter to EU heads of state meeting for the European summit in Brussels on Thursday, the Conference of Peripheral and Maritime Regions (CPMR) urges them to introduce a regional dimension into the EU2020 strategy, to specify how the partnership approach would work in practice and to indicate to what extent the heads of state wish to focus on “territorial cohesion” as set out in the Lisbon Treaty.
