Member states can introduce tighter rules than EU directive on judicial review of unfair contract terms

Brussels, 04/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - In its ruling on Case C-484/08, issued on 3 June, the European Court of Justice deems that member states “may adopt, throughout the area covered by the directive on unfair terms, rules which are stricter than those provided for in that directive,' even terms 'drafted in plain, intelligible language.'
