Luxembourg, 04/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 3 June, EU interior minsters adopted a European pact to combat international drug trafficking, focussing on cocaine and heroin. The pact was mooted by France and includes three main pledges - destroying cocaine trading routes from West Africa to the EU, destroying heroin trading routes in the Balkans and tackling the impact of illegal drug dealing.
