Brussels, 01/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 31 May, the European Commission authorised the Republic of Ireland to prolong its guarantee scheme for financial institutions by one month, until the end of June 2010. All the conditions remain as laid down in the original decision of 20 November 2009.
