27/05/2010 (Agence Europe) - Marek Belka, the former prime minister and minister of finance for Poland, is expected to hold the post of governor of the Polish National Bank (NBP). Belka, who was supported by Poland as a candidate to the presidency of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) before withdrawing to the benefit of Dominique Strauss-Kahn of France, is currently director of the Europe Department at the IMF.
