GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/veterinary medecine/cyprus

05/05/2010 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has taken further steps against Cyprus for being late with the implementation of the medicinal products for veterinary use Directive (2009/9/EC). A reasoned opinion was sent to the government of Cyprus on 5 May over their failure to notify national implementing measures as required by this Directive. Cyprus has been given two months to remedy the situation by adopting and notifying the necessary national measures. (O.L.)
