Recipients of agricultural funding in 2009 made known as of 30 April

Brussels, 30/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - EU member states have until midnight on Friday 30 April to publish the names of the beneficiaries of the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the amounts received by each beneficiary under each of these funds. Publication of this information relates to payments received in financial year 2009. These transparency rules were applied for the first time last year.
