Work of Committee of the Regions focuses on added value of territorial approach and development of macro-regions

Brussels, 15/04/2010 (Agence Europe) - The conference organised by the Committee of the Regions (CoR) on 13 April in Brussels on the EU's macro-regional policies allowed a link to be established between the different regional problems, and allowed joint reflection on this new concept. Over 300 officials and experts were present to discuss the potential and the limits of current macro-regional strategies and of those being prepared.
