29/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 29 March, the European Commission approved the proposed concentration by which Jarden Corporation of the United States will acquire control of the whole of the undertakings of Home Care and Baby & Health Care business of Total SA (“Home and Baby Care Business of Total”), consisting of Financière Elysées Balzac SA, France; Baby Care Holding SAS, France; NUK USA, LLC, United States; Mapa GmbH, Germany; and Mapa Spontex (UK) Ltd, United Kingdom, by way of purchase of shares. Jarden Corporation is a provider of a range of consumer products, including outdoor equipment, household products and home equipment, and is a provider of various plastic products.
