Parliament calls for tax on financial transactions and moratorium on debt to mitigate impact of crisis on developing countries

Brussels, 29/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament considers that the impact of the financial and economic crisis on developing countries is such that the EU and all industrialised countries should help poor countries - the first victims of a crisis for which they have paid a painful price and for which they have no responsibility - mitigate the damages.
