Mediterranean farming faced with climate change - ministerial meeting in Istanbul

Brussels, 10/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - The agriculture ministers of the 13 countries that make up the CIHEAM (the international centre for advanced Mediterranean agronomy studies created in 1962) met in Istanbul on 8 March for their eighth meeting dedicated to the impact that climate change has on food safety and security in the Mediterranean, and on measures to be taken, a CIHEAM press release states.
