26/02/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 25 February, the European Commission cleared the proposed acquisition of Mitsubishi Rayon Co. Ltd by Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation, both of Japan. The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it. .
