Commission approves merger of InnoLux, Chi Mei Optoelectronics and TPO

Brussels, 26/02/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 25 February, the European Commission approved the proposed merger between InnoLux Display Corporation, Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corporation and TPO Displays Corporation, three Taiwanese companies active worldwide in the manufacturing of LCD panels.

The Commission found that the parties' activities were mostly complementary. It assessed the impact of the proposed transaction on several alternative product markets, based on the size of the LCD...
