Brussels, 18/02/2010 (Agence Europe) - Each of the four Mediterranean countries, Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt which are among the largest EU suppliers of textile and clothing products, suffered declining sales in 2009, states CEDITH (Euro-Mediterranean Circle of Textile and Clothing Industries), taking the view that the crisis is to blame for the ground lost by the EU's traditional partners faced with Asian competition.
