Commission to improve security of online transactions in European carbon market

Brussels, 05/02/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission announced on Thursday 4 February that it is to prepare revised internet security guidelines for online registries and to bring forward an action plan to prevent any attack against online transactions on the European carbon market.

The announcement follows cyber attacks on EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) registries last week.
